Thank you for choosing Emerging Edge Media. This VIP Day Coaching Agreement establishes the standards and boundaries of our working together. This agreement authorizes Derek Rydall, of Emerging Edge Media, Inc. to provide the client the services described in this Agreement, at an agreed-upon fee of US$9897,  plus applicable fees for a VIP Day.

Below is an outline of Emerging Edge Media, Inc. policies and a description of what to expect of services to be provided:

1) THE COACHING RELATIONSHIP, 

As your coach, Derek serves as your partner in self-discovery, personal growth, goal-setting and goal-reaching. Derek’s goal, through the teaching and implementation of spiritual principles, is to help you discover within yourself the beliefs or issues that are blocking you from getting all you want out of life, and to help elicit from within you, your own best new ways of being to live more of the life you want to live.

This coaching is not therapy, and Derek is not a therapist. He does not diagnose or treat disorders. Derek’s coaching may be effective either as a precursor, complement, or follow-up to therapy. If you are currently in therapy, you are strongly encouraged to inform your therapist that you are also engaged in coaching, to help ensure that their work with you is mutually supportive toward your goals.

Client understands that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, or other qualified professionals. Client will seek independent professional guidance for legal, medical, financial, business, and other matters.

2) DELIVERY OF SERVICES/OUTCOMES

VIP Coaching is delivered during regular coaching day.  Client is responsible for sending their preferred call details to
us.  We recommend that Client be sure that they use a method that allows them to record their special Day; such as Zoom, or another method to connect with Derek for the call.

Although Derek works from a specific model in providing coaching services, it is actually you, the client, who determines the overall direction of the coaching and eventual outcome based on your level of commitment and focus.

3) CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES / RESULTS

In order for coaching to be most effective, the client must make a commitment to take an active part in the process, which may include identifying your own goals and desired outcomes, or doing homework assignment prior to the VIP Day. It is important that you are truthful and authentic, saying what you believe and feel, sharing shortfalls as well as successes – not just tell Derek what you think he wants to hear or what you might wish you could truthfully say.

Of course, you are also responsible to pay your VIP Day fees on time, if under a payment plan, as agreed upon, and to show up to at the agreed upon date/time, ready to work. Derek will assist you to realize your own potential, and respect your right to make your own informed and responsible decisions; thus, you need to be aware that results cannot be guaranteed, and that you are entering into coaching with the understanding that the effort and energy you put into coaching will largely determine the outcomes you experience.

4) Included in the Program:
Work one-on-one with Derek virtually for a 7-hour day.
5) VIP Day Coaching Days are:
 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Your day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and go to 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
5a) VIP Date:  Client has scheduled her VIP Day for  (TBD) .  Time: VIP Day begins at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time.  Even though the VIP Day ends at 4:00 p.m., Derek could run over the time in order to bring session to a closing place.

Note:  Date could be subject to change in the event of emergencies.

6) PAYMENTS and FEES:

6a)Refunds:  There is a refund granted up to 48 hours from the time of the initial payment. (Deposit or first payment or full payment.)  Once this period ends there are no refunds for any partial or full payment.  Sorry, but there are no exceptions.
Exceptions to Granting Refunds:
1.     All parties who have requested immediate refunds on three consecutive occasions, or for more than 50% of their purchases during the previous calendar year are ineligible for this offer.
2.     All Parties who have filed a payment processor dispute abdicate all rights under the 30-day, money-back guarantee and agree to abide by their payment processor's decision.  There are no exceptions.
3.    No refunds granted to anyone having a past due balance on another program unless payment for those past due balances is paid in full within the refund period.
By making this purchase you are agreeing to the terms of this guarantee.
Contact support for refund request.  You may be asked to give a reason if you didn't initially.

6b) Billing rate (plus any applicable fees): $9,897, plus 2% for a total of $10,094.94

6c) Payments:
      - Credit Card or PayPal payments - 2% charge fee.  You may make a deposit using a CC (Credit Card/PayPal).

Payment in Full or Payment Balances will be made as follows, unless approved otherwise.
- Wired payments:  A $30 wiring fee to be added to the payment for the receiving bank this is in addition to any fees client’s bank may charge.
- Client may also pay by Cashier’s Check subsequent payments after initial deposit in order to avoid fees.  Check will be payable to Derek Rydall and mailed to:

Payment plans may carry a 5% - 10% fee. Not Applicable.
Client agrees to make the regular payments per schedule.  If a payment missed, Emerging Edge Media may cancel scheduled VIP Day until payment(s) is/are received.

6d) Payment Schedule: (TBD)
Payment in full must be received in order to keep the scheduled VIP Day date.  

6e) Cost of telephone calls:  The client is responsible for initiating the call to Derek.  You will want to record your session; therefore, you will want to use a device that will record, such as Zoom.  Client will furnish complete call details to Emerging Edge Media (email to Sandra Rydall at slrydall@gmail.com).  These call details need to be furnished immediately upon booking the date so that they can be put on Derek's calendar for your date.

6f) Recording Sessions: If client desires to record the session(s)(highly recommended and also why conference calls are preferred), client will need to have a recording device or use a connection that allows for recording, unless using a conference line which allows for this.  Emerging Edge Media does not provide recordings or transcriptions of the call.  If you wish a transcription, we will be happy to refer you to our transcriptionist.

7) CANCELLATIONS and NO SHOWS OF SESSIONS.

7a) Client cancellation of scheduled VIP Day: The client remains responsible for session fees. Cancellation notice should be given by email to Derek directly with a cc to Sandra Rydall at  slrydall@gmail.com at least 10 working days prior to scheduled VIP Day, or sooner. Emerging Edge Media is under no obligation to reschedule a session unless advance cancellation notice has been received.  Emerging Edge Media will re-schedule the on first available date. 

7b) Cancellation on day of session: Because an entire day has been set aside for the VIP Day, if cancelled on the day of your session, you are responsible for the entire amount for this day and may incur a charge for the cancellation of up to 10% because a full day was given to client and therefore, no other bookings could be made for this date/time.  Emerging Edge Media will do its best to re-schedule for clients who experience an emergency on the day of their scheduled session if the client has telephoned and emailed Derek DIRECTLY of the emergency. 7c) No Shows:

No shows:  May not be re-booked. (Exception would be in case of an emergency; wherein, client unable to contact Derek, but does so as soon as possible with what the emergency was.).  There is a 20% charge to be paid by Client, in addition to the full payment of the VIP Day cost.

Important Note: Because cancellations and no shows don’t allow for bookings of other appointments, it will be at Derek’s discretion whether it can be re-booked.

Client understands that no show or dropping out of their VIP Day is responsible for full payment of the contracted price if not already paid in full. The Client agrees to this by the signing of this agreement.

8) CONFIDENTIALITY

8a) General confidentiality commitment: The client’s identity, client relationship, and nature and content of the client’s work with Derek Rydall and Emerging Edge Media, Inc.,  will remain private and confidential, and neither the coach nor Emerging Edge Media, Inc. will share any information about the client with a third party unless the client consents in writing (email is acceptable) to allow the coach to discuss the client’s work with specific parties for specific reasons that benefit the client.

8b) Exceptions to confidentiality:

1) In the course of their regular clerical duties, Emerging Edge Media support staff may be privy to name and limited contact information of Emerging Edge Media Coaching clients, but will have no access to information as to the content of the coaching sessions or matters discussed during coaching. Emerging Edge Coaching support staff are under the same strict requirements of confidentiality as is the life coach himself.

2) In the event that Derek believes there is clear and imminent danger to the life and physical safety of the client or others, the coach may need to disclose selected information in order to make appropriate and potentially life-saving interventions.

3) In highly unusual circumstances, legal requirements may demand that confidential material be revealed.

4) If a client publicly makes false and slanderous claims about the coach’s work with the client, with the intent to harm Emerging Edge Media, Derek Rydall shall be at liberty to respond publicly to those false charges in order to protect his own personal and professional reputation.

9) HOLD HARMLESS:

Client agrees to utilize Emerging Edge Media services with the full understanding that Derek Rydall, Emerging Edge Media, their employees, volunteers and directors are in no way responsible or liable for their decisions, actions and their outcomes. You also agree to hold Derek Rydall, Emerging Edge Media, their employees, employees, volunteers and directors free of all liability and responsibility for any adverse situations created as a direct or indirect result of a specific referral, advice given, or any actions taken while working with or as a result of working with Emerging Edge Media and Derek Rydall.

CLIENT confirms by purchasing that they have read, understand, and agree to the foregoing Standards, Terms and Policies for the VIP Day. (Client has received this document via email for signature.)
